To give a background, I am from IRMA and work in the agriculture domain-agriculture consultancy and then into farm mechanisation.
The biggest value proposition for me was, keeping upto date about the latest agri tech, information on agri-inputs sector and the fascinating way you introduced various concepts in the articles.
Now, I would need a Ken to get detailed information about various industries/company and a general newspaper subscription like Mint, ET for daily dose of business news. So roughly, 3K+3K in addition to the subscription for Agribusiness matters. So, 18k/yr in this context seems quite high.
Also subconsciously we always do a benchmarking,
for instance my first thought was for 12k, I could get a Ken+ Mint+Bloomberg+Economist from British library.
Also just a suggestion, many people involved in agriculture would be in the development sector. You may consider a different pricing for them.
You may consider also quarterly or half yearly subscriptions. That gives audience more options to choose.
Seriously this is way too expensive @12000/yr. I have The Ken, ET Prime subscriptions. This is simply too expensive. Unsubscribing.

Your content is really unique and informative, and really liked it. But I do believe there needs to be a middle ground in terms of pricing.
